A family bakery on Main Street
We opened Golden Crumb Bakery in 2019 with one deck oven, a starter named Bruno, and a simple idea: a neighborhood deserves bread baked that morning, by people who know your name. Everything is mixed, shaped, and baked in-house, every single day. Nothing arrives frozen, nothing comes from a mix.
Come in for a croissant and coffee, order a birthday cake, or just follow the smell down the block. That works too.

Frequently asked questions
How far ahead should I order a custom cake?
Two weeks is ideal, one week is usually fine, and for simple designs we can sometimes manage 72 hours. Call us and we will tell you honestly what is possible.
Do you have gluten-free options?
We bake a small daily selection of gluten-free muffins and cookies, made first thing before the flour flies. Our kitchen handles wheat all day, so we cannot promise zero cross-contact for severe allergies.
Do you sell wholesale to cafes or restaurants?
Yes, for a handful of neighborhood spots. Email us with what you need and your volume, and we will talk through bread programs and morning delivery windows.
What happens to unsold bread at closing?
After 4 PM it goes into half-price day-old bags, and whatever is left at close goes to the community fridge on Elm Street. Very little ever gets wasted.
Is there parking nearby?
Two-hour street parking on Main Street and a free lot behind the building off Chestnut. Bikes welcome, we have a rack by the door.
